English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker Series

English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker series is part of Fisher Hill’s English Literacy Program for Spanish speakers. There are six levels in this program. To progress through the program, students need to do all the level one books first: English Reading and Spelling for the Spanish Speaker Book 1 then English Reading Comprehension for the Spanish Speaker Book 1, English Writing Composition for the Spanish Speaker Book 1 and finally English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker Book 1. After finishing the four workbooks in Level 1, then students can begin Level 2. Each level always begins with the Reading and Spelling for the Spanish Speaker workbook.

Reading and Spelling for the Spanish Speaker. Vocabulary Scope and Sequence

Each English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker workbook reviews the English words that were presented and practiced in each level. For example, English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker Book 1 will review and practice the words that were presented in the level one books. The directions on each page are in Spanish. The English translations of these directions are at the end of each workbook.

Following are the themes and topics from each English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker workbook. These themes and topics use the words that are presented and practiced in each level of the program.

English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker

Adults like our workbooks because the pace is reasonable, print is large, directions are in Spanish, there’s lots of pictures but the content is for adults. Teachers like our books because everything is ready to go! There’s an answer key at the the end of each lesson and an English translation of the Spanish directions at the end of each book.
