Graphic organizers are visual representations or frames used to organize information. They help organize information. They can help students see the relationships between ideas which will allow students to more easily understand, remember and apply information. Having a well developed vocabulary is the key to reading comprehension. The more words a person knows, the better he/she will understand the text. A well developed vocabulary not only improves listening and reading comprehension but also writing compostition. There is an answer key at the end of each workbook.

The six English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker workbooks are part of Fisher Hill’s English Structured Literacy Program for Spanish speakers. The program has six levels with four workbooks at each level: Reading and Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Writing Composition and Vocabulary.
