Fisher Hill has a series with six workbooks called English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker. https://fisher-hill.com/product-category/vocabulary/ This series was written to help Spanish speakers improve their English vocabulary.  The six workbooks use many pictures and graphic organizers to help students expand their English vocabulary. Each vocabulary workbook reviews the vocabulary for each level in Fisher Hill’s Structured Literacy Program. The first book to use at each level is the Reading and Spelling workbook.  The program uses a very systematic, explicit approach to teaching the forty-four English speech sounds.  After completing the Reading and Spelling workbook, students are ready to practice reading by using the Reading Comprehension workbook https://fisher-hill.com/product-category/comprehension/ or writing by using the Writing Composition workbook https://fisher-hill.com/product-category/composition/ .  The Vocabulary workbook reviews the vocabulary at each level. Adults like our workbooks because the pace is reasonable, print is large, directions are in Spanish, there’s lots of pictures but the content is for adults.  Teachers like our books because everything is ready to go!  There’s an answer key at the the end of each lesson and an English translation of the Spanish directions at the end of each book.
