The six English Vocabulary for the Spanish Speaker workbooks are part of Fisher Hill’s English Structured Literacy Program for Spanish speakers. The program has six levels with four workbooks at each level:  Reading and Spelling, Reading Comprehension, Writing Composition and Vocabulary. The first book to use at each level is the Reading and Spelling workbook.  The program uses a very systematic, explicit approach to teaching the forty-four English speech sounds.  After completing the Reading and Spelling workbook, students are ready to practice reading by using the Reading Comprehension workbook https://fisher-hill.com/product-category/comprehension/ or writing by using the Writing Composition workbook https://fisher-hill.com/product-category/composition/ .  The Vocabulary workbook reviews the vocabulary at each level.
